I started with acrylic, moved into oils, and then on to watercolors. Eventually I settled in with a watercolor treatment of acrylic paint.

I use a very thick slab of cold-pressed watercolor paper and work the paint in very wet, with many coats.

The more coats of watery paint you let soak in, the more vivid the colors become, leaving behind a richly-hued final product.

What About Pets?

After Trump completely infected the body politic, by getting elected president of these Unites States, I needed something, like mindlessly painting the pets of friends and family, to help ease my intellectual pain and extreme Disappointment in america.

Image of Grizzy by Mark Frazzini

Grizzly was the first, loosest and possibly my favorite of the bunch. Made for my Amazing cousin and cousin-in-law, Jessica and Justin

Image of Hershey by Mark Frazzini

Hershey was the only painting I made of a passed pet and is somewhat haunting in her gaze and in your face framing. A gift for my dad.

Image of Names Unknown by Mark Frazzini

This was the only commission of the bunch. My sister was kind enough to hire me to paint these as Christmas gifts for her sister-in-law.
