It's easy to be affraid of It, the delicate balance between Life and Death. It's easy to close our eyes, curl up, and be terrified by It, but the balancing act continues all the same...

This ol' fella went so far as to blind himself. His parents, in an attempt to stop his sadomasochistic rages, amputated both his arms and one of his feet, which did indeed quite him down.

The surgical technology not yet having been invented to help reconstruct his eyesockets, the doctors instead screwed on heavymetal plates to cover up the empty, pustulant caverns that once housed his eyes.

But now in his quiet solitude and regretless acceptance, his zen-like demeanor even enchants the birds above and brings him comfort at long last.
